Memorable Learning

Welcome to the Ampertaine Primary School website. Whoever you are, we hope that you will enjoy your visit and find our pages interesting and useful.

Our small rural school has one hundred and twenty 5-11 year-old girls and boys whose experiences are designed by 7 teachers, 5 classroom assistants and 1 administrative staff.

We welcome everyone to our school and do all in our power to ensure that children's time with us is safe, enjoyable and fruitful.

Parents, children, residents and business folk rely on us to provide the future drivers of our community... hopefully, your visit will give you some idea of how the  ambition, confidence, reliability, integrity and spirit of our youngsters are nurtured and guided.

A and B now in operation

We are now operating with two Slots, A and B.

We would ask that all pupils are ready to exit their cars with coats and bags ready to go. The mornings can be very busy and we wish to encourage a constant flow in and out of the car park.

We would ask that you stick to your time slots to avoid confusion and to maintain a constant flow of traffic particularly when collecting.

At times with forgotten bags etc classes may be out just after their slot.

Please come within your ten-minute time slot ONLY - Many are not!

Pupils from P3 up should be able to enter their car at collection time without assistance.

On collection only Staff will walk pupils to cars in the interest of safety.

Our event on Friday night raised a massive £1684.50. This money will be divided between Little amps and Ampertaine as agreed.

We have a brilliant Ampertaine community who came out on Friday night and enjoyed the fun.

Thank you again for supporting our small school.

Coronation Song

We didn't let the rain dampen our spirits for our

Coronation Party Day!

Following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll, the Department of Education has made the decision that Monday 19th September will be an Exceptional Closure for all schools, giving staff and pupils the opportunity to pay their respects to Her Majesty on the day of the funeral.
Our school will be closed on this day, and will reopen on Tuesday 20th September at the normal time.

A FREE creation trail will be held this Sunday. The trail will last roughly one hour with lots of fun things for all to do.

Welcome back to Ampertaine! - Pupils are allowed to be dropped off in Slots A and B from 8:40 -8:50am and Slot C from 8:50-9am. A teacher will be present in the school playground.
